The Intellinet Network Solutions Ultra Long Range Outdoor Fast Ethernet PoE+ Extender Kit adds up to 1,000 m (3,280 ft.) to the connection distance from a PoE source to an output device via Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It has an output power rating up to 30 watts, which is enough for many power-hungry PoE devices. Its high range and weatherproof housing is especially useful for outdoor IP surveillance camera deployments. This PoE repeater delivers up to 30 W at 100 Mbps over 300 m (984 ft.) or up to 15.4 W at 10 Mbps over 800 m (2625 ft.).
This PoE+ extender offers the right power and data connector for longer-distance applications and suits a wide variety of environments. Its weatherproof IP67 (waterproof and dustproof) rating and a wide operating temperature range of -10 - 55°C (14 - 131°F) make it able to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.
Supporting the IEEE 802.3bt protocol with input power up to 95 W, this PoE+ Extender Kit provides up to 30 watts to a connected 802.3at-compliant device or 15 W to an 802.3af-compliant device, along with data up to Fast Ethernet speeds.
This PoE+ Extender helps avoid the expense of running AC power lines to a wireless access point, network camera or IP phone. Simply connect the extender to the LAN switch port through existing Cat5e/6/6a cables to deliver DC power as well as transfer data.
The auto-sensing technology of this high-power PoE extender ensures that your products are protected from power problems like short circuits (short GND), current overloads and high voltages.
This PoE Extender was designed to be as easy as possible to set up and use. All it takes to have it up and running is to connect its PoE In port to your PoE injector or PoE switch and to connect the PoE Out port to the PoE device you want to connect (e.g., a VoIP phone or a PoE network camera). The kit includes two modules that always need to be used together for maximum distance capabilities.
