The TP-SW8GAT/24-SFP Power over Ethernet (PoE) 10-Port Gigabit Switch from Tycon® delivers high-speed Layer 2+ Ethernet performance with advanced manageability. This powerful switch lets users configure PoE ports to support 802.3AT or Passive 24V PoE, enabling seamless power delivery to multiple devices from a single unit. Its two 1Gb SFP fiber ports accept both single-mode and multimode fiber transceivers, providing flexible connectivity options.
The PoE ports deliver up to an impressive 240W total power, easily managed through an intuitive user interface.
Robust security protocols, such as SSH, protect the command interface from unauthorized access. Users can access the interface through the serial console port or any Ethernet port, controlling it via web browser, CLI, TELNET, SSH, or SNMP.
Equipped with advanced Layer 2+ features, this switch enhances manageability, security, and performance. Key capabilities include VLAN, Port Mirroring, Port Isolation, IGMP Snooping, DHCP Snooping, LLDP, ARP Inspection, Storm Control, IP Source Guard, Access Control Lists, and PoE management. The switch also supports Spanning Tree, Jumbo Frames, and Ring Topology for efficient and resilient network configurations.
The TP-SW8GAT/24-SFP includes two independent power inputs for primary and backup power. It operates with a 37VDC to 57VDC input on a wire terminal connector, accommodating up to 12AWG wire for secure and reliable connections.
