The TP-DCDC-1224-HP by Tycon Power is a dependable and cost-effective DC to DC converter that delivers 24VDC Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a 12V battery system. It includes an integrated PoE injector, supporting both Passive PoE and 802.3at models for enhanced versatility across various devices. Additionally, its dual power inputs enable the connection of both a primary and backup power source, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

Designed for efficient performance, the unit accepts data input via a shielded RJ45 jack and outputs both data and PoE power through the shielded RJ45 output jack. Power is supplied on the unused Ethernet pins—4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-)—optimizing both data transfer and power delivery. With a 35W output capacity, it meets the needs of most devices. Furthermore, built-in protections, including surge, short circuit, and overload safeguards, enhance reliability and ensure safe, long-term operation.

The TP-DCDC-1224-HP also features isolated input and output capabilities, allowing it to accept negative voltage on input while providing positive voltage on output. This flexibility makes it ideal for systems with positive or negative voltage configurations.

For devices without PoE compatibility, the optional POE-SPLT-S splitter separates data and DC voltage at the remote device. Additionally, the POE-XOVER-S cable offers a quick solution for systems requiring reverse voltage, expanding compatibility options.
