The TP-SW8-D Power over Ethernet 802.3af/at (PoE) 10/100Mb switch offered by Tycon Systems® is a fully automatic, high-speed 8-port Ethernet switch designed to deliver exceptional performance and versatility. This switch is ideal for various applications, providing robust connectivity for multiple devices simultaneously.
Moreover, the -NC version of this switch is a passive PoE model, specifically designed for devices that are not 802.3af/at compliant. On this version, the PoE output voltage matches the input voltage, making it universally applicable. The DC input power range can vary from 12V to 57V, offering flexibility in power sources. Additionally, the units can be powered via 2 or 4 pair PoE to port 8, with a maximum current of 2A.
The TP-SW8-D model features a 2-channel 802.3at input, supporting a maximum PoE input of 70W. Both models efficiently supply power to remote devices on the unused Ethernet pins 4, 5 (V+) and 7, 8 (V-), ensuring seamless power delivery. Furthermore, the Ethernet specification supports distances up to 100m (328 feet) between the PoE switch and the remote device, guaranteeing reliable connectivity over long distances.
In addition to these features, Tycon Systems® offers a variety of compatible power supplies in 18V, 24V, and 48V with power ratings of 60W, 120W, and 180W. These options ensure you can find the perfect power solution for your specific needs. The switches also feature two power inputs for attaching primary and backup power sources, enhancing reliability and uptime.
