The TP-DCDC-1248GD-M from Tycon Power offers a cost-effective, high-efficiency DC to DC Converter solution for users who require IEEE802.3af from a 12VDC or 24VDC power source, such as a battery system or vehicle. Featuring an integrated PoE injector, this device seamlessly applies both power and data output to CAT5/6 Ethernet cables. The output voltage is carefully regulated and well-protected to ensure smooth operation.

To further enhance versatility, the TP-DCDC-1248GD-M includes two common (-) and two (+) terminals, allowing users to connect two power sources, such as a primary and a backup. This design ensures uninterrupted power delivery. The unit also includes robust protections for surge, short circuit, and overload conditions. Furthermore, both the input and output are isolated, offering increased safety and reliability.

For industrial applications, a new model housed in a durable metal enclosure is available. The injector efficiently accepts gigabit data-in through a shielded RJ45 Jack and provides both gigabit data-out and PoE power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. It delivers power through Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-), ensuring compatibility with IEEE802.3af standards. Additionally, these models are equipped with protections against surge, short circuits, and overload. With power outputs up to 24W, the TP-DCDC-1248GD-M provides reliable and efficient performance in demanding environments.
