MODEL: TP-SW8-NC

The TP-SW8-D Power over Ethernet 802.3af/at (PoE) 10/100Mb switch offered by Tycon Systems® is a fully automatic, high-speed 8-port Ethernet switch designed to deliver reliable performance and versatile power options. This switch is ideal for a variety of applications, providing robust connectivity for multiple devices simultaneously.

The -NC version of the switch is a passive PoE model, specifically designed for devices that are not 802.3af/at compliant. On this version, the PoE output voltage matches the input voltage, making it universal in its application. The DC input power range can vary from 12V to 57V, offering flexibility in power sources. Additionally, the units can be powered via 2 or 4 pair PoE to port 8, with a maximum current of 2A.

The TP-SW8-D model features a 2-channel 802.3at input, supporting a maximum PoE input of 70W. Both models supply power to the remote device on the unused Ethernet pins 4, 5 (V+) and 7, 8 (V-), ensuring efficient power delivery. The Ethernet specification supports distances up to 100m (328 feet) between the PoE switch and the remote device, providing reliable connectivity over long distances.
