The SW5 Series Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches offered by Tycon Power are fully automatic high-speed 5-port Ethernet switches, each capable of delivering up to 2A of PoE power per port. These switches provide a versatile and robust solution for various networking needs.
The Universal Voltage 10/100/1000MB PoE Switch accepts universal voltage (12-57VDC) via the wire terminal connector on the back of the switch, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of power sources. Additionally, it can accept 12-57VDC (1A max) Passive PoE input on port 5, providing further flexibility. Each port is capable of delivering 1A of power, making it suitable for powering a variety of devices.
Furthermore, on the universal voltage models (“-NC”), the PoE output voltage equals the input voltage, making these switches universally applicable in different scenarios. The Ethernet specification supports distances up to 100m (328 feet) between the PoE switch and the remote device, ensuring reliable connectivity over long distances.
Tycon Power offers a variety of power supplies in 60W, 120W, and 180W sizes, with voltage options of 18VDC, 24VDC, and 48VDC, providing ample choices to meet different power requirements. All the SW5 Series switches come with DIN Rail mounts included for convenient DIN rail mounting, simplifying the installation process and ensuring a secure setup.
