The Rocket is a hi-power, linear 2x2 MIMO radio with enhanced receiver performance. It features incredible range performance (50+km) and breakthrough speed (150+Mbps real TCPI/IP). The device was specifically designed for outdoor PtP bridging and PTMP Airmax base-station applications.

Rocket M and AirMax BaseStation/Rocket Antennas have been designed to seamlessly work together. Installing Rocket M on AirMax BaseStation/Rocket Antennas requires no special tools, you simply snap it into place with the mount provided with the Antennas.

The Rocket M5 enclosure is built to survive harsh environments and fits the Rocket mount built into every airMAX antenna. Pair the Rocket with the appropriate antenna for your PtP link or PtMP network.

Featuring mix-and-match industrial design, the Rocket is a Ubiquiti Networks airMAX BaseStation that supports speeds of up to 150+ Mbps real TCP/IP throughput. It is ideal for deployment in Point-to-Point (PtP) bridging or Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) airMAX applications.

Sector Antenna airMAX BaseStation

The AM-5G20-90 AirMAX 5 GHz 2x2 MIMO Sector Antenna from Ubiquiti Networks provides networking flexibility and convenience by letting you create a customized base station with an optional RocketM radio. This antenna operates under the 5 GHz frequency and offers a gain of 20 dBi. It delivers 2x2 MIMO performance and supports airMAX technology, which uses a Time Division Multiple Access protocol to send and receive data at pre-designated time slots.

The airMAX Sector Antenna is a Carrier Class 2x2 Dual Polarity MIMO Sector Antenna that was designed to seamlessly integrate with RocketM radios (RocketM sold separately). The RocketM’s radio with the airMAX Sector Antenna’s reach to create a powerful basestation. This versatile combination gives network architects unparalleled flexibility and convenience.
